Albert Camus Birthday Celebration and Homage at Boston University and Boston College

To celebrate the centenary of Albert Camus’s birth (today, November 7), the Francophone Association of Boston University (AFBU) is organizing a series of events designed to commemorate the life and legacy of Albert Camus, including film screenings, a guided discussion on L’Etranger, two roundtables and a digital exhibition organized by the Institut Français, also presented in Boston College.
Boston College is hosting a lecture titled, "Albert Camus & Algeria" with a keynote address by Adam Gopnik, of The New Yorker. The speakers will be: Arthur Goldhammer, Harvard University; Annie Cohen-Solal, Université de Caen Basse Normandie; Patricia Lorcin, University of Minnesota; Daniela Caruso, Boston University; James Le Sueur, University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
