May 6 : Films on the Green are back at the MIT
Films on the Green is back at MIT with an exceptional outdoor screening of The Intouchables, box office hit of 2011, on Wednesday, May 6th at 8 p.m. Films on the Green is a free and open French film series that organizes outdoor screenings in parks in the spring and the fall. It began in Boston in 2011 after the successful example set by New York, and is co-presented by the Cultural Service of the French Consulate, MIT France (MISTI) and MIT Global Studies and Languages Department.
The film will be screened in French with English subtitles.
The screening will be preceded by a concert by a duo of French guinguette musicians, pianist Arnaud Favry and singer Jessica Dolly Cohen.
7:15 p.m. : Concert followed by presentation of the movie by Prof. Catherine Clark
8 p.m. : Film & popcorn
