La Cantatrice Chauve

La Cantatrice Chauve
Presented by La Troupe at Harvard

Café Gato Rojo
(Basement of Dudley House in Harvard Yard, near 1365 Mass. Ave., Cambridge)
May 3-5, 2012 - 8:00 pm

La Troupe, Harvard’s first and only French theater troupe, will be performing La Cantatrice Chauve, Eugène Ionesco’s most famous play that centers around Mr. and Mrs. Smith, who have invited the Martins over for dinner.

The conversation that ensues is a series of non-sequiturs that are both hilarious bursts of nonsense, and yet hold chilling truth about the tragedy of the human condition in this post-war context. To purchase tickets, please send an e-mail to latroupetix@gmail.com. Tickets are $5 for students and $8 general admission.
