March is Francophonie month !

Every year, the Month of the Francophonie is celebrated in March. A series of cultural events with partner institutions are organized in New-England, aiming to promote francophone cultures for every age and every audience! Discover here some highlights of this great celebration. And remember, keep calm... and speak French!

Sunday May 1, at the International School of Boston:
Kickoff of the Month with a piano recital organized by the International School of Boston (ISB), with pieces by Beethoven and Chopin played by Paul-André Bépanchat.

Saturday March 7, at ISB:

Dictations of the Francophonie organized by ISB and Boston Accueil, under the patronage of the French Consulate of Boston.

Saturday March, 14, at Jonas Clarke Middle School, Lexington

Voyages en Francophonie is returning for its 4th edition. Organized by Education Française Greater Boston (EFGB), the event runs from 10am to 6pm and celebrates the cultures of ten French-speaking countries with all sorts af activities (concert, workshops...): great for families!

Thursday March 26 at 7:00pm, at the Coolidge Corner:

As part of the Francophone Film Festival at Coolidge Corner (290 Harvard St • Brookline • MA 02446), the Consulate is organizing a screening of Aya de Yopougon, and adaption of the successful Ivory Coast comic strip.

Friday March 27, at Milton High School:
The Morning of the Francophonie is organized with Milton High School and is open to students learning French of the region.

Saturday March 28:
Mark your calendar for March 28, since the soirée "Mais Oui!" is coming back to the Candibar.
