Louis Pasteur exhibition at the French Cultural Center

Pioneer microbiologist Louis Pasteur (1822-1895) will be given pride of place for the French Cultural Center’s April exhibition, entitled Louis Pasteur and the Evolution of Vaccine. It will run from April 1st to May 4th. Held in honor of World Immunization Week (the last week of April), the exhibition will present historical photographs which showcase Pasteur’s life and work. His development of the principle of vaccination, and of the vaccine against rabies and anthrax, his invention of the process known today as pasteurization, his study of the role of microorganisms in the transmission of infectious diseases mark Pasteur out as a founding father of immunology.

The exhibition opening will take place on Wednesday, April 8 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with complimentary wine. You can RSVP here.
