French Animation at Boston International Children’s Film Festival

French animation will be in the spotlight with three films featured in the Boston International Children’s Film Festival from Saturday, May 16 to Sunday, May 24.

Moomins on the Riviera is the adaptation by French director Xavier Picard of the celebrated Finnish comic strip Moomin.

Mune , directed by Alexandre Heboyan and Benoît Philippon, is a beautifully animated CGI (computer-animated imagery) adventure about a land divided between the realms of day and night.

Wolfy, the Incredible Secret , directed by Grégoire Solotareff and Eric Omond, is based on the very popular book series Loulou by writer and director Grégoire Solotareff, about the friendship between a wolf and a rabbit.

All films will be screened in English.
